Over the past 5 years, Power Steering on most major brands of vehicle manufacturer in the European car park has evolved.

In 2009, 95% of small to medium vehicles were produced with electrically assisted steering systems of one style or another (EPS, EPAS or EHPS)

The old hydraulic Rack and Pump system has been replaced with a modern electrically assisted system that consists of one of the following-

EPS - Electrically Powered Steering - This is when the steering rack is driven directly by a PMAC brushless motor.

EPAS - Electrically Powered Assisted Steering - This is when a manual steering rack is driven by an Electric steering column and PMAC motor.

EHPS - Electro- Hydraulic Powered Steering - This is when a Hydraulic Power Rack is supplied by an Electrically driven Hydraulic Steering Pump.

The Electrosteer Brand has been researching and developing Electric Steering Products since 2006, with an added initiative to develop EPAS systems for the automotive market.

We have worked on problem solving and sourcing components, recreating components, understanding the systems and how they should perform.

As part of the R&D and also our own understanding of hydraulic steering systems, we put an added importance to the testing procedure of our product.

We will not sell an EPAS column that we weren't able to test thoroughly and support with a test report.

We were able to purchase testing equipment that will enable us to achieve our company goal, coupled with a high quality of remanufacture (consisting of OE replacement components and upgraded components).

We feel we have a very strong product and range.

We are able to support the product with training and understanding workshops, either in house or at site.

Electrosteer products are supported with a 2 year or 24,000 mile guarantee.

We know that every product to leave our workshop is of the highest standard and this is also recognised by the customer base that it is attracting.

We are currently supporting vehicle manufacturers with their EPAS steering programmes around Europe.

We are currently producing for Fiat, Nissan, Renault, Vauxhall, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, BMW.
